Dad, it's nearly a year ago that our world came crashing down and you were taken from us. This past year has been the most painful time and not one day has gone by where you haven't been at the forefront of our thoughts. We talk about you all the time and it's still hard to accept that you're not here making more memories with us. You were such a lovely, affectionate and caring dad, not only in our older years but when we were little too and we love you so much. We had lots of tears on Christmas Day but I like to think that you were there with us even though we couldn't see you. It's going to continue to be tough trying to get through the next few days over new year and I hope that one day we'll see you again. I have a vision of seeing you smiling to welcome us with open arms and running into them for a big cwtch when it's our time!
